West Block Glenora
Edmonton, ABA truly mixed-use community has been developed in the West Block—an area where Edmontonians can live, play, and work. The project creates an urban space that is unique to Edmonton, setting a new standard of quality in its built environment. Situated in the mature neighborhood of Glenora, the West Block transforms a previously abandoned housing project into a vibrant, transit-oriented community. The design centers around a south-facing urban plaza, fostering an active, vibrant, and sun-filled space tailored for Edmonton's winter climate.
The first phase of the development, 100 West Block, consists of a 60-unit residential tower offering sweeping views of Edmonton’s downtown and river valley. The Phase 1 commercial development incorporates an innovative timber structure with glue-laminated beams and timber flooring. The warm wood interiors and generous floor-to-ceiling heights create modern loft-style spaces ideal for discerning tenants.
