Birkdale Village- Jewelboxes, Concierge, & Kiosks

The Birkdale Village project incorporated new construction of commercial 'jewelboxes' from a combination glulam and CLT mass timber structural frames into a refined walkable retail district.  All three buildings were built in the median, surrounded by existing roads, sidewalks, and vegetation.  The jewelboxes were designed for future tenant build-outs, allowing for customization to the tenant-specific requirements.  Each jewelbox is anticipated to house either a food and beverage occupancy such as a restaurant or biergarten, or a retail space.
