Nabholz Office Expansion
Rogers, ARThe project used glulam columns, beams, and chevron braces with 4 1/8" thick CLT roof panels. All timber was Southern Pine. Walls and parapets were light gage steel. Glulam connections were custom designed beam brackets and pinned internal plate brace connections. Column base connections were HSS stubs between steel baseplates and glued-in dowels to the columns. CLT panels were supplied by International Beams in Dothan, AL. Glulam framing was supplied by Construction Sales Company, Inc. in Magnolia AR. Fasteners specified were ASSY Kombi & Ecofast screws fromMTC. Arkansas was using IBC 2012 at the time.
