Kresge College Renewal at UC Santa Cruz
Santa Cruz, CAThis renewal project was designed to preserve the unique architectural and cultural spirit of the original Kresge College while updating it to the needs of 21st century students, with a much-needed increase in housing, classroom, and student support space. The first phase of the project includes three new residential buildings and an academic building, made with a combination of CLT floor and roof diaphragms, glulam beams, wood shear walls, and light wood-frame walls.
