South San Francisco Wellness Center

This 3 story mass timber office building designed for the County of San Mateo will provide community wellness support and medical clinics on the first floor and office tenants on the second and third floors. The structure is comprised of Cross Laminated Tmber (CLT) floor and roof decks supported by glualm beams and columns. The CLT floors feature a raised access floor system, and the roof features a ventilated roof assembly. The seismic system is comprised of steel Buckling Restrained Braced frames, and the foundation is shallow spread footings bearing on ground improvements. The exterior skin features a timber curtainwall system with drift joints.
