Royal BC Museum Provincial Archives, Research and Collections Building

The Royal British Columbia Museum's Provincial Archives, Research, and Collections Building in Colwood, British Columbia will house the Province’s collections, research departments and the BC Archives. Once built the facility will be open to the public. People will be able to view the more than 7 million artifacts on site, access the BC Archives, watch researchers at work through accessible lab areas, and engage with museum staff on site. The building will be constructed utilizing mass timber and will implement sustainable strategies to achieve energy efficiency and reduce greenhouse gas emissions.
