Ozarks Education Center Bull Shoals Field Station

Cedarcreek, MO

A new facility for the Missouri State University campus located off the shores of the Bull Shoals Lake. The program is oriented around ecological student research and consists of a main commons building and cabins out in the landscape for students as the conduct their research.  

The structure of the building consists of light frame pre-engineered wood trusses mixed with stick built framing, custom glulam/steel hybrid trusses, an I-joist floor structure, and a hybrid steel and wood cantilevered deck.
