Taylor Cabot, Project Manager, trained as an architect and transitioned into construction when a mission to build community-minded and resilient structures led her to embrace mass timber. Her work started with traditional glulam post and beam structures, evolving into prefabricated CLT and glulam buildings. Most notably, her work on Carbon12 in Portland, Oregon garnered her a Women of Vision award. With Swinerton and now, Timberlab, Cabot has completed a variety of projects. Including the procurement and project management of Ascent, the tallest hybrid timber structure in the world and her current work on the procurement, fabrication and installation of Heartwood, an 8-story mass timber, type IV-C, work-force housing project in Seattle, WA.
