Western Michigan University Student Housing
Kalamazoo, MI
A new residence hall for first-year students is coming to Goldsworth Valley in fall 2026. Designed for over 1,000 students, it will feature pod-style rooms, open spaces for socializing, and modern amenities at an affordable price. The building, constructed with cross-laminated timber (CLT) floors and stair shafts, will include a central lounge with a kitchen, laundry, and multipurpose rooms, a collaboration hub, and a health and well-being studio. Students will have various room options, access to study lounges, hybrid learning booths, and outdoor spaces for both socializing and relaxation. The hall is conveniently located near other first-year residences, Valley Dining Center, and nature trails.
