Palmer Events Center

Austin, TX

This was the largest Glulam project in North America back in 2001, delivered on time and on budget. The project design called for a very large, clear-span space which required each truss to be different, something that was accomplished with flexibility on the manufacturing floor and a flexible setup for truss assembly. These trusses help to establish a "pavilion in the park" effect. The Palmer Events Center is powered by renewable energy from Austin Energy's Green Choice Program.
