Alberta Boilers Safety Association
Edmonton, AB
The Alberta Boilers Safety Association (ABSA) commissioned the construction of a new head office designed to reflect a forward-looking attitude and environmental consciousness.
The building, located in the Edmonton Research Park, is a striking example of bold and contemporary architecture that celebrates simple, fresh design alongside sustainable principles.
To promote sustainability, operable windows were installed to allow natural air circulation, and a high-performance building envelope was incorporated. The office's orientation was also carefully chosen to maximize the capture of breezes and sunlight.
Inside, under-floor air distribution and thoughtfully designed workspaces reinforce ABSA’s values and aesthetic. This project enables ABSA to present its identity to the community while fostering a sustainable connection with the surrounding environment.
