Cascada
Portland, ORThis new five-story, hybrid mass timber mixed-use building includes hotel, coworking space, restaurant, below-grade parking, and wellness program, with leasable retail spaces at the ground level at the West end of the lively Alberta Arts District. The wellness-oriented health facility occupies three floors of the building which includes hammam-inspired bath and steam rooms, a swimming pool, reception, gym, and treatment rooms. The building’s second floor features an indoor/outdoor dining terrace and coworking space, and the third through fifth floors include 100 hotel units. The upper three levels will be constructed of mass plywood panels over light framed walls. Mass plywood and LVL elements are also scattered throughout the amenity spaces.
