I am a Principal and design leader at Weber Thompson who specializes in mass timber and complex, high performance projects. I'm passionate about sustainability and creating contextual and approachable projects with a focus on placemaking. Mass timber offers an opportunity to create high value, biophillic architecture that reduces the carbon footprint of the built environment and creates space that nurtures the human condition.
Early experience working in the construction industry gave me an appreciation for the craftsmanship that goes into building, and a greater depth of knowledge as to how architecture comes together. This has given me the perspective of valuing both the technical and the expressive elements of architecture – evident in the award-winning work I've accomplished at Weber Thompson.
I spearhead internal initiatives for expanding design discussion and capabilities while leading the frm’s adoption of emerging technologies such as virtual reality, 3D printing and digital fabrication. I am also the current co-chair for the AIA Seattle Mass Timber Committee.
