Individuals Who Work Here:
PRESS is a Spokane-based architecture practice founded on the simple notion that collaboration is key to project success.  We leave our ego at the door and roll up our sleeves to work hand in hand with project stakeholders.  Trust and respect are key values in how we work.

PRESS strongly believes in mass timber and its role in moving the building industry towards more sustainable solutions.

Our mass timber work includes modular-volumetric CLT infill housing, light industrial warehouse and factories, and commercial and higher education.

PRESS is led by Drew Kleman, who was the lead architect and design manager for the Catalyst Building in Spokane, the State of Washington's first full mass timber commercial and higher education building.  He also led the introduction of mass timber in the light industrial market during his time at Katerra, culminating with the permitting and construction of CLT warehouses in Spokane, WA and Dallas, TX.

Since forming PRESS, Drew has continued to move CLT forward in the light industrial sector - including the Mercer Mass Timber Addition which features a hybrid steel frame with CLT walls and roof.  PRESS is also collaborating with east-coast partners on a prototype hybrid steel / precast / CLT warehouse.
