Oscar Johnson Community Center

Conroe, TX

The Oscar Johnson, Jr. Community Center is situated on nearly two and one-half acres south of downtown Conroe. A six thousand square foot building with meeting facilities, classrooms, library, computer room, kitchen and offices supports the Center’s programming efforts to address the needs in the community.  A four thousand square foot activity building adds two classrooms, restrooms and a large meeting room for programs and rental opportunities. Outdoor features include a lighted basketball court, picnic tables, playground and a seasonal swimming pool. Conroe residents can participate in after school programming, summer day camps, mentoring, teen programs, and a variety of other programs and special events.
