Ullrhof Restaurant

This all mass timber reconstruction of the Ullrhof restaurant will create roughly 366 additional seats at the restaurant, for a total of 450 indoor seats and 275 outdoor seats. Aspen SkiCo would roughly double the current footprint of the building with their three-floor design but would embed the building into the hillside to minimize its mass and scale. The building would be less than 65′ tall, adhering to the building restrictions in the town’s development plan.

Mass timber was chosen because of its aesthetic beauty but also because of the speed of construction. Because Snowmass doesn't open until the snow melts, the construction window is extremely tight between when the site can be accessed, and when the roads close for the season due to snow storms.
