Scofieldtown Public Works Center

A public works center for the City of Stamford, Connecticut located in an afluent suburban part of the city. The structure was designed to resemble a farm structure with a salt shed designed to resemble a gothic arch dairy barn. The structure of the salt shed features glulam arches. Unlike a steel structure, the glulam timbers are immune to corrosion or deterioration from contact with salt.
