Onan House

The TimberBLDR team has worked with Risinger Build and other industry partners for the past year to bring the Onan House, an innovative mass timber residential project, to life utilizing mass ply light framing.
Located in Dripping Springs, the heart of the Texas hill country, the Onan house is a single-family residential mass timber building with a total footprint of nearly 9,000 square feet. Because, as the saying goes, everything is indeed bigger in Texas!

On this project, TimberBLDR is installing a new mass ply light framing system developed with Freres Wood, a 100-year-old company with a tradition of innovation.

Mass ply light framing offers speed of construction, superior structural integrity, and sustainability, replacing stick-framing in single-family, multi-family and commercial applications.
