As the Founding Principal of HD Architects, Charlie’s passion is to create design solutions crafted from close attention to project contexts and motivated by a desire to connect people with their environment. These motivations mesh tightly with the biophillic qualities found through buildings focused on MASSS timber design.
In 2022, Charlie lead the design for the first MASS timber Veterinary Practice located in Westland, MI. The project utilizes CLT roof panels and glulaminated beams and columns.
