Kindred Resort
Keystone, COKindred (One River Run) is Keystone’s first major development in 20 years, and it completes the River Run base area as a state-of-the-art, amenity-rich, mixed-use expansion. The surrounding outdoor elements inspired OZ’s design, incorporating a distinctly Coloradan modern mountain feel. OZ incorporated sustainably-minded elements into the hotel design – the site is pursuing Green Globes Certification and has a predicted 30% energy use savings over your average hotel property. This was achieved through healthy building materials with reduced VOC content and by utilizing water-wise plumbing features for 36% water savings across the site. The hotel offers 100+ rooms, with a spa, restaurant, and event space. The commercial space includes two restaurants, a large event space, a Ski School, a ski & board rental shop, retail, a spa, and a signature ski club. OZ also included below-grade parking and general gondola plaza improvements to give the River Run base a stronger sense of place. The development is located steps from the River Run gondola along the Snake River, on the 4.5 acres once home to the Hunki Dori parking lot and River Run kid’s ski school.
