Megan is an Associate Principal at Holmes, leading the firm’s sustainability and equity efforts. She has worked on numerous large commercial office and retail buildings, including North America’s largest mass timber building which opened in early 2021.
An active member in structural engineering professional associations, Megan serves on the SEAONC Board of Directors and is Co-Chair of the ASCE Structural Engineering Institute’s Sustainability Committee. She researches the environmental impacts of different structural systems focusing, on quantifying and reducing their impacts. Megan has presented her findings at various conferences on the role engineers have on shaping the built environment. She is an advocate of both disaster resiliency and passive design strategies. Megan is also the lead on a national professional engagement and equity survey for the National Council of Structural Engineers Associations.
